cold wateruse the amount called for on the back of the gelatin box
12fl. ozheavy whipping cream (350ml)
5fl. ozsweetened condensed milk (150ml)
Decoration (optional)
whipped cream
Red, white, and blue sprinkles
Instructions
Follow the directions on the back of the two gelatin boxes.
Prepare both gelatine flavors and transfer them to a 8x8 (20cmx20cm) dish. Refrigerate for about 4 hours or until set. You can use the Quickset method mentioned in the box if you prefer.
Cut squares according to the size of your cups when both gelatins are completely set. You can use a utility knife and run it through the Jell-O, vertically and horizontally, to create the squares.
Remove them delicately so they won't break. You can use a teaspoon, the tip of a butter knife, or even a spatula, if you want to lift more than one at a time.
Use small cups of 8oz (237ml) or less to create this dessert. Place a few gelatin squares on the bottom of the cup, alternating the colors and pressing them against the wall to make them visible from the outside. Pour a little bit of the cream (about 1.5 tablespoons) and continue this process until you reach the top of the cup.
Decorate with some whipped cream and sprinkles or another way you like.
Notes
If you'd like to reduce calories, you could use sugar free gelatin.
